Brand Story

In 1982, "Farm Director" Shu Congxuan used the money he had saved for his wedding to buy 1,000 chicks and started his poultry farming business.

As a farm director, he was so dedicated to breeding that he often slept in the chicken coop, woke up earlier than the chickens, and ate worse than they did. Over time, he discovered that the Feixi old hen, raised for a full 180 days, was especially suitable for making soup. This gave him a bold idea—why not let people all across the country taste the chicken soup from his farm?

In 2003, the first restaurant of Lao Xiang Ji (Original Chicken Feast) opened in Hefei, Anhui Province, introducing signature products such as Feixi old hen soup. The quality products were well received by customers. Today, Lao Xiang Ji has become the home kitchen for the general public. The over ten classic dishes launched in the early days of the restaurant’s development remain bestsellers. Among them, the signature old hen soup has sold over 100 million servings nationwide!

The delicious soup comes from the farm's high quality standards, staying true to the principle that if the ingredients aren't good, they won't be served.

Over the decades, the farm's supply chain has continuously evolved—covering breeding, raw material selection and procurement, food processing, cold-chain logistics, and on-site cooking. Quality control at every step is carefully managed, ensuring that every meal is safe and reliable.

Currently, there are over 1,800 fast-food restaurants across the country, including in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, with the number growing rapidly each year.

Laoxiang Chicken currently has three major breeding bases, with over 1400 acres of modern chicken farms and a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan. The local chicken farms have achieved automated and intelligent production operations, and have also built information systems for breeding, promoting the scientific development of the breeding industry.
We take the "Five Good Hens" as the standard, select chicken chicks, feed them scientifically, monitor them throughout the process, and sell them without resistance. Our goal is to raise high-quality chickens with firm meat and fresh soup, and to maintain the health and quality of every bowl of chicken soup.
Farm Cultivation

The first phase of the Laoxiang Chicken Farm, covering 18000 acres, has been cultivated and sown. The farm plans to build an intelligent information platform, which will achieve digital planting management, large-scale agricultural machinery and equipment, satellite remote sensing, real-time environmental monitoring of big data information, and other technologies to achieve intelligent, modern, and ecological smart agriculture.

We aspire to become the best farm in the world, using good soil and water to grow good vegetables, using organic fertilizers, insisting on planting vegetables that are free from pesticide residues, do not ripen, delicious, and reassuring, so that farmers are respected!

Central Kitchen

Laoxiang Chicken has three central kitchens with a total investment of over 2 billion yuan, integrating functions such as poultry slaughtering, raw and clean vegetable processing, initial processing of agricultural and sideline products, and intelligent warehousing and logistics. Ensure timely delivery of fresh and reliable ingredients to over 1000 restaurants nationwide.

The central kitchen of Laoxiangji is industry-leading in standardization, automation, and digitization, with 43 patents obtained. Quality control is arranged clearly at every stage, ensuring that customers can eat every bite of food steadily.
